Job role: Operations Manager 

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Salary: Competitive

We are looking for a qualified ‘Operations Manager/Process leader' to manage our shop floor team and provide effective leadership. This is a duel-based office/shop floor role where the right candidate will be responsible for managing and motivating a growing team of 10 +
people, on the operational side of a family manufacturing business.

 

As a driven leader, you will be responsible for the Operational side of the business from raw materials being receipted, right through to 'Goods Out'/logistics and indeed the whole manufacturing process in-between, reporting to the Operations Director.

Requirements:

Key experience of the below areas with a particular emphasis of liaising with our sales​​

function to ultimately create customer delight for our clients.

  • Fire management and evacuation experience 

  • IOSH 

  • Lean Manufacturing 

  • QMS involvement 

  • People management 

  • Customer satisfaction

  • Proven work experience as a driven leader/change management

  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics

  • Good PC skills an advantage

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Organisational and time-management skills

  • Decision-making skills

  • Qualifications in Management or training in team-leading is a plus.
